I have been missing Imogen... I love her voice. It immediately makes me wish for rain so i can lay in bed and listen to her music all day long. I like Deadmau5 too. He makes nice beats.
Finally finished watching Top of the Lake this weekend. All the actors were so good. The little girl that plays Tui, Jacqueline Joe is absolutely gorgeous and plays her part well. Elizabeth Moss grew on me during the series. She plays the strong willed woman that quietly rages against men. Again. Like "Mad Men". But the ending was so good I forgave her.
The darkness of the story was a contrast to the beautiful landscape of New Zealand. Not sure if I can be in an airplane that long but it would be lovely to visit one day.
While watching Top of the Lake, I saw that The Killing will be back in June. Can. Not. Wait!

Week 3 of the April Shop my Closet challenge was another success. It was good to pull out some old accessories and wear them. I can't stand that the pretty parts of belts are the back so I flipped around my belt and wore it with a plain black dress. I didn't realize that my shoes and belt have the same nailhead detail! Sweet!
The closet/shelf project hit a snag. It began to be too expensive for what it was and Monkey pulled the plug on it. Meh! I think I found a solution at Ikea that I have to run and get this weekend. Week 4 is Basics, which hopefully will be fun and make me more thoughtful.

While browsing on the interwebz, I found this amazing blog, Shop My Closet Project. I love Michelle's writing and her blog couldn't have been found at a better time since I am trying to be more aware of my clothing expenditures this year. Shop My Closet and Debt Free Divas have done a great challenge this month, the Shop Your Closet Challenge. For some reason, I am really really digging the idea of a month long challenge. Even though I'm going to continue to watch my spending far after the end of April, it feels like such a easy thing to do... just a month, easy peezy! And now on to the skeletons in the closets...
